Disney Springs is a great place to soak in the holiday spirit and enjoy the festivities on offer. From special seasonal menus to delightful holiday decor, restaurants in this location share an abundance of enjoyable atmosphere and good cheer. What better way to take in the sights and sounds of Disney Springs than accompanied by a soothing beverage to take the edge off the day? The resort is full of seasonal offerings, and today, we are shining our spotlight on the limited-time cocktails at Morimoto Asia. You might have seen them in our Food Guide for the season earlier this year, but here is a closer look at some of the limited-offering beverages you can find in The Landing this week:
Bloom & Fall:
- Woodford rye, banana oleo saccharum, parsley syrup, Bittermens Scarborough bitters, lactic acid
Midnight Ube Spritzer:
- Captain Morgan, Monin ube, Dolin Génépy le Chamois liqueur, shiso essence, yuzu, highball seltzer
Tarutomēpuru “Tart Maple”:
- Knob Creek smoked maple, cinnamon syrup, Fee cherry bitters, Fee black walnut bitters, lemon juice
Aki “Autumn Bliss”:
- Copper & Kings apple brandy, red wine, Lazzaroni amaretto, pineapple juice, yuzu, filthy cherry syrup, Bittermens ginger bitters
For a non-alcoholic option, try the Pearadise Tea with Monin pear, Monin desert pear, green tea, lime juice, and simple syrup.
Now, if you are wondering what lactic acid has to do with cocktails, you aren’t on your own. I had the same question and went on to do the research for us all. Apparently, lactic acid is a mild acid that can help balance a cocktail, adding flavor and texture to the drink to give it a creamier edge. Who would have thought?
