Disney has always been the home of incredible storytelling. From far-off adventures to tales of family and home, Disney has always been the perfect platform to explore. During Women’s History Month, that storytelling journey continues with some inspiring background being shared on some of the female creators at Walt Disney World, along with how they came to be the superstars we love. Today, our story is about Chef Hannah from The Polite Pig in Disney Springs. Chef Hannah’s exclusive, limited-time dish, Blackened and Smoked Mahi Mahi Salad, was influenced by her childhood.
Chef Hannah from The Polite Pig grew up spending her spring break gardening and cooking with her aunt, while her uncle led fishing trips. These fond memories were the inspiration behind her limited-time #CelebrateHERStory dish.
Disney Springs
It’s such a lovely concept to consider that all of these carefully crafted dishes, beverages, artworks, and other works are inspired by each individual’s story and background. We are so lucky to experience that diversity in every aspect of Disney’s creation. This refreshing salad features Chef Hannah’s favorite springtime flavors like oranges, sweet peppers, and lemongrass. Stop by to try this flavorful, fresh dish through the end of the month.
