Walt Disney Imagineering released a new behind-the-scenes video sharing an up-close look at the new ride vehicles for the reimagined Test Track at EPCOT, opening later this summer. The behind-the-scenes video offers fans a detailed look at the redesigned cars, and shares insights from the team working on the project.
Imagineering says the updated vehicles are a more subtle design, and appear darker to blend in with the attractionās updated environments. The design leans into the feel of a research and development prototype, aligning with the reimagined Test Trackās theme of exploring the innovation behind mobility. Updates include new seats, updated paint, full-vehicle wraps, and redesigned interior graphics.
The new design marks the move away from the Chevrolet-focused branding of Test Track 2.0, embracing a wider collaboration with General Motors. You can watch the full video here!
