Finding Inspiration in EPCOT at Walt Disney World

The gardener in me looks forward to the yearly Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival in Walt Disney World. The festival runs until June 2, 2025. This year is the 30th anniversary of the event. Be sure to pick up a Garden Festival Passport as you enter the park.

The theme park looks gorgeous with all the beautiful flower displays and topiaries. I love to stroll through the park and snap photos for ideas for my own yard.

There is an all-new Moana and Maui topiary display this year, located in the main flower bed as you enter the park.

I learned that having Purple Martins in your garden helps to keep the insect population under control. They are also entertaining to watch as they live in their “houses.”

The displays also gave me some good ideas for different colors in my flower beds.

There are lots of beautiful topiaries scattered around the neighborhoods of World Celebration, World Discovery, World Nature, and World Showcase.

I also love looking at how they stage the flowerpots with all the beautiful flowers. That is the look I tried to accomplish in my flower beds last year.

I wasn’t the only one inspired by the beauty in EPCOT. This little girl was dancing like no one was watching.

I also love visiting the orchid display outside the Mexico pavilion. They are so beautiful, and it makes for a stunning display. I grow them also, but this made me want to purchase more of them.

What was your favorite display? ‘Til next time, see you in the parks!
