A new Disney Parks x Discovery Series Starbucks mug is now available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and it features some attractions that are now closed!
These mugs are currently available at Celebrity 5 & 10 on Hollywood Boulevard inside the park for $24.99. The design style matches the Disney Parks x Starbucks cold tumbler including mystery pins which were released back in April, but have since sold out.
The porcelain mug features a teal interior and pink handle, with attractions and iconography from Hollywood Studios in a colorful sticker book style. These surprisingly include nods to Muppet*Vision 3D (which permanently closed on June 7th), Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy (defunct as of October 2024 and has since been replaced with Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After), and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster (which will soon close to make way for its 2026 Muppets makeover).
Like the cold tumbler, this mug is obsession-worthy, with colorful illustrations of Gertie the Dinosaur, the Hollywood Tower Hotel, the Miss Piggy Fountain and a little Kermit face, Mickey atop the Crossroads globe from the park’s entrance, a Millennium Falcon and lightsaber, a “pizza planet” and little green alien, Lightning McQueen, and a super-stretch limo zooming through a donut.
This is most likely the last piece of merchandise to ever feature some of these attractions. If you’re a fan, be sure to scoop this up from the Hollywood Studios soon!
