In a [Walt Disney] World of homogenized merchandise, we’re finally seeing a refreshing boost in resort, attraction, and park-specific pieces! When you’re visiting Disney’s parks and choose to pick up a souvenir (or 8), we tend to gravitate to those more exclusive pieces; something you could only find at the theme parks and not at your local Target, Wal-Mart, or BoxLunch even.
Happily, two new graphic t-shirts have cropped up exclusively at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! I found these at Keystone Clothiers on Hollywood Boulevard. Like any adult-sized graphic t-shirt at Walt Disney World shops, they’re currently on promotion for $25 each when you purchase two, or their regular price is $29.99 each.
The first design I found arrived just in time for Valentine’s Day. At first, I thought this was just a fun Star Wars shirt, but then I spotted the “Disney’s Hollywood Studios” on the bottom left! Chewbacca is surrounded in hearts and stars. Won’t you be his one chew love?
Chewey, we’re home.
The next style is a bit more plain on a white t-shirt, yet it still stands out against the more-generic shirt designs you could find at any other shop! Seeing this made me realize how rare it is to see Disney’s Hollywood Studios on a shirt all on its own. I was reminded of the good ol’ merch days when there was no shortage of Disney-MGM Studios merchandise…
This design features a very 1990s-looking Mickey Mouse holding a clapperboard which reads “Disney’s Hollywood Studios”, set against a faded grey park logo.
In case you missed it, we also spotted this DHS-exclusive water bottle at Celebrity 5&10, featuring the original park icon itself, the Earffel Tower.
