There’s certainly no shortage of Star Wars merchandise nowadays, especially with May the 4th quickly approaching. But on a recent stop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I noticed a few newer attraction-specific pieces celebrating the original Star Wars attraction at the park: Star Tours.
If you’re reading this, chances are you already know: Star Tours provides an immersive and exhilarating Star Wars experience that captures the excitement and adventure of the galaxy far, far away. And I believe it’s the best Star Wars attraction around — here’s why.
After taking a zip around the galaxy with C-3PO at the helm, we took our exit-through-the-gift shop. Tatooine Traders is one of my favorite shops at Walt Disney World, offering Star Wars merchandise from any timeline and not just goods from Batuu.
This time around, I noticed two new pieces specifically made for Star Tours. Have a look!
Retro Star Tours Hat | $32.99
This ivory retro-stylized hat with embroidered blue striping details features our two leading droids from flight 1401, C-3PO and R2-D2, with the Star Tours logo and “The Adventures Continue” front and center. (There is no park logo, nor logos for Walt Disney World or Disneyland included)
Black and White Stitch Star Tours Logo Tee | $42.99
The black on black logo design is subtle, and looks like a metallic deep purple in bright light. The bottom right side of the shirt reads “Starspeeder 1000”, and the back of the shirt includes “Walt Disney World” in its classic font, with “THE ADVENTURES CONTINUE” underneath.
Star Tours Poster Tee | $39.99
This one has been around for a few years now, but it’s still available and on display alongside the newer items! The designs features your Starspeeder 1000, the Death Star, Slave One, and Tie Fighters amidst asteroids and the face of Darth Vader within the galactic background. Embroidered details include the Star Tours logo and “Starspeeder 1000”.
