Limited-time Star Wars offerings debuted at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May the 4th, and I’m here to remind you that while some of these are listed as “while supplies last”, these are available through May 31st! It’s Star Wars MONTH, if you will. Join me as I dive fork-first into these interstellar snacks to see which ones are out of this world… and which ones should be left in the Sarlacc pit.
Sliced Eeopie Wrap from Docking Bay 7
First up on our galactic foodie journey, we arrived at Docking Bay 7 for an early supper suitable for smugglers and Jedi alike.
Sliced Eeopie Wrap | $15.99 | Roasted pork loin, capicola ham, spiced broccoli rabe, provolone, and red pepper mulsauce wrapped in pita bread drizzled with herb aïoli and served with yuca fries
The wrap’s flavors were okay. Despite all of those listed ingredients, this ended up tasting like your typical Italian sub sandwich. Additionally, we received a sad amount of the broccoli rabe – something I was looking forward to seeing as part of a quick-service menu item.
This would have been a bit better if the sandwich or pita itself was warmed up. Because of the cold presentation, it felt a little more basic deli sandwich. The classic [nearby] Ronto Wrap remains supreme.
However, the Yuca Fries… I surely hope these become a Docking Bay 7 mainstay, because they are just too good. The fibrous and soft yuca is perfectly fried, offering a well-rounded crisp with each bite. Balanced with the acidic herbal aïoli makes for a satisfying savory snack.
Battle of Hoth Macaroon from Backlot Express
Our next stop? Dessert, naturally. The moment I laid eyes on this coconut confection in the May the 4th Foodie Guide, I knew I had to have it. I’m a huge coconut… nut, and highly recommend this adorable treat to any like-minded friends.

Similar to a ‘Snowball’ snack cake from Hostess, this chewy coconut dessert features a cakepop-like chocolate center — which pleasantly surprised me as this wasn’t in the description!
The sticky coconut outer layer pairs nicely with the moist cake center — reminiscent of a German Chocolate Cake.
The cookie base isn’t anything special, it’s a sort of plain graham cracker but doesn’t possess much flavor. The white chocolate AT-AT is the most photogenic and fun part of the dish. I doubt this was intentional, but I love how only one side of the AT-AT is show-ready, just like the real life one outside of Star Tours!
For the price, and sheer amount of sweet coconut, I’ll try to enjoy this again before it disappears at the end of this month! (She says as she’s preparing for another Star Wars evening out at the park)
Sith Lord Libation & Chosen One Cooler from Backlot Express
Ryno recently reviewed the alcoholic versions of these, and if you’re visiting Hollywood Studios any time soon, these include some of the best Star Wars souvenirs you can find at the resort right now.

Both of these were refreshing on a hot Florida day. I preferred the more tart cherry flavor in the Sith option (I am on the Dark Side, after all…), the “sweet-and-sour” in the Chosen One was more sweet and less sour. Both of these are also available with alcohol, for a whopping $27 each. To me, it’s worth nabbing the lightsabers and enjoying a quick and cool limeade versus paying $13 for a small amount of added alcohol.
I paired my scrumptious galactic findings with a game of Sabacc and a ride on Star Tours for an impromptu Disney park date night. 10/10 recommend.
