The last time we checked on the Harmonious barges, they were starting to be dismantled. We saw a crane on a boat going to and from the eyesores. I also saw many construction workers standing on the barges. Unfortunately, while we were there, all the lagoon tacos were still present.
Since that EPCOT trip, a lot has changed in World Showcase Lagoon. Two barges have been removed, and the huge Stargate circle barge has also disappeared. It seems like they are working hard to get all of this junk out of the water. Anyway, let’s look at some pictures!
I am beyond happy right now. We are slowly but surely getting that beautiful view back. That view has always been my favorite part of the park. My favorite pastime pre-Harmonious was to grab food, find a bench and look across the lagoon. It was just a relaxing thing to do on busy EPCOT days. It’s even great to do on those slow days.
