Living With the Land: Glimmering Greenhouses at Walt Disney World

It’s that time of the year when the Walt Disney World theme parks look so festive for the holiday season. One of my favorite places to visit is Living with the Land in EPCOT. If I had to choose a job at Walt Disney World, it would be to work in the greenhouses.

Have you enjoyed this attraction? If you have, then you should see it decorated for Christmas. It will be decorated through December 30, 2024, during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.

We were excited to experience the attraction at night. The lines are longer for this attraction during the evening hours, so you should allow extra time if you don’t have a Lightning Lane Multi Pass. We asked the cast member standing outside what time the lights were on and were told 6:30 PM. We were trying to beat the crowds, so we tried around 5:30 PM, and the lights were on. It was a cloudier evening, so it was darker in the greenhouses.

They also offer a Behind the Seeds tour of the Glimmering Greenhouses. It is $55.00 per person. It is a one-hour experience offered at 6:00 and 7:00 PM nightly. You can make reservations through your My Disney Experience account. You should check in 15 minutes before your tour at the lower level of The Land pavilion near the attraction exit.

For a little bit of Disney magic, stop in the ladies’ bathroom near Soarin’ and the food court area. One of the cast members has made some darling towel animals to decorate the bathroom. Hopefully, they will be there when you visit. ‘Til next time, See you in the parks!
