Disney announced a new snack kiosk will be opening soon at Magic Kingdom‘s Tomorrowland, called AstroFizz. Since Cool Ship – the Coca-Cola sponsored snack cart of Tomorrowland – was recently torn down, it seems AstroFizz is the new replacement. Though, Disney has not made an official announcement of the exact location, nor an opening date.

However, @DisneyEats just shared a first look at the mysterious new snack cart’s menu via Instagram:
Prepare for snack liftoff in 3…2…1 – AstroFizz is coming soon to Magic Kingdom!
– Frozen Slushies: Fanta Orange, Fanta Blue Raspberry or Coca-Cola
– Cherry Cola Churro: Churro rolled in cherry sugar, drizzled with Coca-Cola Cherry icing, and topped with cherry popping candies
– Popcorn
Is Walt Disney World Finally Stepping Up Its Churro Game?
Disneyland fans have long held bragging rights when it comes to churros. From seasonal flavors like Pumpkin Spice, Strawberry Shortcake, and Churro Toffee to limited-time offerings for nearly every single celebration, you can find a themed churro with special toppings or dips (or even filled!) at almost any snack cart throughout Disneyland Resort (including this beloved one). Meanwhile, over at Walt Disney World, the churro scene has been… well, a little quieter. Most of the “special edition” churros we’ve seen on the east coast are simply colored sugar crystals, like the lightsaber churros at Disney’s Hollywood Studios around May the 4th.
Up until now, most of Disney World’s themed and flavored churros have been reserved for special, separately ticketed events like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Regular park days usually mean sticking to the classic cinnamon sugar variety.
That’s why the arrival of the new Cherry Cola Churro at AstroFizz in Tomorrowland has caught the attention of us Disney snack enthusiasts. Unlike past event-exclusive treats, this churro will be available to all daily guests, marking a small yet possibly mighty churro shift for Orlando’s parks. Could this mean we’re finally getting closer to Disneyland’s level of churro creativity?

Only time (and the fryer) will tell. We can hope our future park days are filled with more fun, themed churros popping up across the parks; though whether they’ll ever achieve the same crispy perfection as their California counterparts is another story. Let’s be honest: humidity and churros have never been best friends. But, if Disney World is ready to experiment, we’re ready to taste-test our way through whatever comes next!
