We stopped by Storybook Treats in Fantasyland on our MVMCP night to try one of the new seasonal desserts:Ā the Sugar Plum-Vanilla Soft-Serve Sundae!Ā And better yet, this one’s available during regular park hours for the holiday season, no extra MVMCP ticket needed!
$7.79Ā | Sugar Plum-Vanilla Soft-Serve Swirl, dipped in Celebration Cake Cone Dip, and topped with Mini Marshmallows and Almonds.
This holiday treat is just so fun! The celebration cake cone dip creates a frozen shell, which you have to break through to get to the sweet soft-serve swirl, where vanilla provides the perfect balance to the sugar plum.Ā It gave me some hints of light coconut flavoring somewhere in there, and the almonds balanced that out for a unique, almost tropical, flavor profile.
The marshmallows, almonds, and Christmas-colored sprinkles were brilliant little toppings, adding the perfect textures. Seriously, I loved this sundae, and I know Teresa did too (despite her initial reaction seen in our MVMCP vlog…) — 10/10 recommend!
