Walt Disney World has confirmed that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will return to Magic Kingdom for the 2026 holiday season. The separately ticketed after-hours event is one of the resort’s most popular holiday traditions, bringing festive entertainment, seasonal overlays, character encounters, complimentary treats, and plenty of Christmas spirit to the park.

Here’s everything Disney has announced so far for the 2026 event:
Event Dates and Ticket Information
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will take place on select nights from November 8 through December 22, 2026:
- November 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 24, 25, 27, 29
- December 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22
The party officially begins at 7 PM, but guests with event tickets can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4 PM, offering three extra hours in the park before the festivities kick off.
Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets beginning July 9. Tickets for all other guests go on sale July 16.
Exclusive discounts will be available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.

What to Expect at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
The event combines holiday entertainment, seasonal attraction overlays, character greetings, festive food and beverages, and exclusive merchandise throughout Magic Kingdom.
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
One of the highlights of the event is Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.
The holiday procession features gingerbread men, ballroom dancers, toy soldiers, Disney characters dressed in festive attire, and a special appearance by Santa Claus himself. Holiday music, seasonal scents, and snowfall effects help make this one of Magic Kingdom’s most beloved nighttime parades.

Since the parade travels from Frontierland to Main Street, U.S.A., there are several viewing options throughout the park.
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks
Hosted by Minnie Mouse, this nighttime spectacular combines holiday music with fireworks, projections, and castle lighting effects.
Classic Christmas songs including “Deck the Halls” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” accompany the show as Cinderella Castle transforms with festive scenes and holiday imagery.

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration
The Cinderella Castle forecourt stage will once again host Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration.
The live stage show features Disney characters, performers, and holiday music, with appearances by favorites including Clarabelle Cow, Daisy Duck, and Woody from Toy Story.


Frozen Holiday Surprise and Dance Parties
Guests can also gather in front of Cinderella Castle for Frozen Holiday Surprise, featuring Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the snowgies as the castle transforms into a winter wonderland.

Throughout the evening, additional dance parties with DJs and Disney friends will take place around the park.
Character Meet-and-Greets
Several popular character greetings have already been confirmed.
At Princess Fairytale Hall, guests can meet:
- Anna and Elsa
At Town Square Theater:
- Jack Skellington as Sandy Claws and Sally
- Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their holiday outfits

Meet Santa in Storybook Circus
Santa Claus will once again greet guests at Santa’s Christmas Carnival in Storybook Circus.
Located near Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Barnstormer, the experience also includes holiday-themed activities and additional festive friends.
Holiday Attraction Overlays and Available Rides
Several Magic Kingdom attractions will receive holiday-themed enhancements during the event, including:
- Space Mountain
- Tomorrowland Speedway
- Mad Tea Party
- Jungle Cruise
- Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor

Guests will also have access to many of the park’s most popular attractions, including:
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Haunted Mansion
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
