New Experiences Coming to ’24 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays

Walt Disney World has shared details on 7 new offerings coming to the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays! Whether your favorite activities include completing the Cookie Stroll every year, doing your holiday shopping around World Showcase, or singing along with the Candlelight Processional, there is plenty to do, and this year, there is even more!

1.) Grand and Miraculous Gingerbread Display

We shared details earlier today on the “grand and miraculous” gingerbread display coming to CommuniCore Hall. The giant sphere comprises hundreds of handcrafted gingerbread triangles that will periodically light up and dance to music throughout the day. 2.) Glittering Grove in CommuniCore Hall

For the first time, guests can enjoy a stroll around CommuniCore Hall, where they’ll see seasonal décor inspired by the unique design of EPCOT, including an enchanting forest with the Glittering Grove presented by Balsam Hill, where twinkling trees abound.

3.) New Festival Merchandise

If you need to find some gifts to put under your holiday tree, you’ll also find an assortment of festival merchandise inside CommuniCore Hall.

4. and 5.) Two New Holiday Kitchens

Two new Holiday Kitchens are coming to CommuniCore Hall this year!

First is the Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow, which will serve, yes – you guessed it – cookies! You can purchase the gingerbread triangles that make up the Spaceship Earth display at this Holiday Kitchen in a decorating kit, a perfect activity for little ones to enjoy.

The new Favorites of Festivals Past will serve the best-loved dishes from previous years. This Holiday Kitchen is located right outside CommuniCore Hall.

6.) Build A Snowflake

Just outside CommuniCore Hall in CommuniCore Plaza, guests will find a new, complimentary activity – snowflake decorating! Be sure to add this to your to-do list, especially when anyone in your group needs to rest from all the hustle and bustle of the festival.

7.) Seasonal Scents

Along the walkway between the Imagination! pavilion and World Showcase, there is an all-new seasonal display throughout the festival. Festive Fragrances presented by Scentsy invites you to stroll through a snow globe garden inspired by Scentsy’s seasonal aromas. Guests who visit CommuniCore Hall will have the opportunity to purchase some of their favorite holiday fragrances.
