Disney has shared the first details on two new additions coming to Disney’s BoardWalk, with both set to open starting in late 2026. A new lounge and a retail shop are confirmed, and Disney has already hinted that a quick-service restaurant announcement is still coming later this summer. (For those who have noticed the vacant storefronts along the promenade over the past several months, this is the first official word on what’s moving in!)
Hurly-Burly
A new lounge called Hurly-Burly is coming to the waterfront, set inside a historic seaside theatre with a story that stretches back over a century of BoardWalk history.

The space is designed to work differently depending on the time of day. Afternoons will be family-friendly, with trivia and games hosted by a charismatic host. After dark, Hurly-Burly shifts into a 21-and-over live music venue serving coastal-inspired cocktails and light bites alongside musical entertainment.
Basin on the BoardWalk
Basin is also coming to Disney’s BoardWalk, offering handcrafted bath and body products. The shop will carry natural soaps, botanical bath salts, bath bombs, body butters, lip salves, shampoo and conditioner bars, and more.

What makes this one stand out against the more standard locations found at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Disney Springs will be the interactive elements inside. Disney says the new location will include a custom bath tea blending counter, a make-your-own-soap station, and a soap embossing press for a personalized touch on purchases.

More to Come
Disney also hinted that a new quick-service restaurant is on the way to Disney’s BoardWalk, with more details expected later this summer. No name or concept has been shared just yet, stay tuned!
