It’s always exciting to see a beloved Disney attraction in a whole new way when an overlay is added during the holiday season. One of my very favorite overlays in all of Walt Disney World is on the Living with the Land attraction in The Land pavilion at EPCOT.
First of all, I love this attraction regardless of the time of year, so a few years ago when holiday theming was added sporadically throughout the ride, I was even more in love with it. Anything grown in the shape of a Mickey Mouse head is worthy of a look or three, in my book. I especially love what they’ve done this year with adding a nose and antlers – you have to look close to see them. So cute!
The snowman family is adorable, and I always love a gigantic Christmas ornament. One thing about this area of the attraction is that it looks completely different during the daytime. I think it’s worth a trip through during both light and dark periods of the day as you’ll really see the Christmas lights when it’s dark out, and during the day, you might notice additional décor tucked in here and there that you wouldn’t otherwise see.
I always love a beautifully wrapped gift, and this area is full of them! From big additions to simply adding snowflakes and stockings, this attraction should not be missed if you’re in the World Nature section of EPCOT this holiday season!
What’s your favorite Disney attraction overlay?
