As we continue our holiday tour around Walt Disney World, it’s time to stop by the 2025 Gingerbread Displays. Few traditions hit as hard as the spinning gingerbread carousel inside Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and this year marks a major milestone: the carousel’s 25th anniversary.

The carousel confection rotates throughout the day, featuring four themed horses, plus one stationary horse posed off to the side. Lush holiday foliage frames the entire display, and stanchions keep curious hands from getting too close. Marking the anniversary, you’ll spot the number 25 tucked into nearly every part of the design.

The stationary horse is styled like a baker, complete with a chef’s hat, checkered details, and a saddle piled with baking tools, ingredients, and sweets. A nearby gift box is “addressed” to Our Cherished Guests from the Yacht & Beach Club Resort Bakery Team.

Each horse on the carousel has its own personality:
- A gingerbread-themed horse features cookie cutouts, gingerbread men, snowy icing details, and a Mickey-shaped gingerbread cookie marking its 25th.

- A white, peppermint-inspired horse is decked out in peppermint and candy cane accents, with the number 25 displayed on its saddle.

- A chocolate-brown Yule Log horse is trimmed with berries, mushrooms, pinecones, and plaid touches; its “25” is styled with swirled candies.

- A citrus-themed yellow horse celebrates Christmas citrus, with fruit-slice trim, pecans, red bows, and a golden Mickey head holding its anniversary number.

Around the roofline, Mickey gingerbread men and white carousel horse cookies circle the display, both of which you can actually purchase at the nearby treats counter!

Stepping away from the carousel, you’ll notice the roof features a red and green birthday cake with the number 25 on top!

Mickey-shaped cookies also outline the base:

A pedestal lists the ingredients that went into creating this year’s carousel:

- 432 pounds of honey
- 1200 pounds of rye flower
- 100 pounds of eggs
- 25 pounds of spices
- 10 pounds of simple syrup
- 200 pounds of icing
- 10 quarts of egg whites
- 100 pounds of confectioner’s sugar
- 200 gumpaste flowers
- 50 pounds of dark chocolate
- 20 pounds of Grand Marnier
- Lots of enthusiasm, energy and talent
- 2024 pieces of gingerbread
- 25 hidden gold Mickeys

Another pedestal recognizes the Cast Members behind both this year’s build and the displays from years past:

The carousel remains on view all day, but it officially “operates” from 10 AM through 10 PM, the same hours the treats counter is open. If you want gingerbread-themed cookies, pastries, or limited-time merchandise, this is the counter to visit!

Gingerbread-themed merchandise found here includes the Gingerbread Collection pin, and Beach Club-exclusive items, including an ornament and pin featuring Pluto and Goofy.
