This past weekend marked the highly-anticipated runDisney Princess Half Marathon event at Walt Disney World, and what a spectacular ending it had. Over the finish line in the first place position was Colorado resident Neely Gracey, making history as only the third woman ever to take out the top spot on the virtual podium.
In a statement, Gracey said that she had only passed the second-place finisher in the last mile, making it a close race. The runDisney Champion joins 2017 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon winner Giovanna Martins and Jackie Pirtlehall, the 2019 Disney Princess Half Marathon winner, to be the third female attendee to receive the title.
