The practical benefits are easy to see. Of course, this would not be offered as a free perk. Like the Disney Dining Plan, the drinks package would almost certainly require that every member of the group or family be enrolled to prevent sharing. It would not be inexpensive either, very few things at Disney are, but the convenience, value, and peace of mind could make it worthwhile for many guests. The psychological benefit of knowing drinks are “already paid for” can be just as important as the actual cost savings. It allows families to relax and focus on the experience rather than constantly budgeting every drink purchase.
