Craig, Ryno, and I went to the first night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and I wanted to highlight some of the best parts of our night. We honestly had such a fun night even though I felt like we were running a marathon, mainly me, because these boys walk so fast, and it’s hard for my tiny legs to keep up. I am glad that we got to see everything we wanted and did a few things that weren’t on our must-do list.
We Met Characters
We tend to ignore the characters on nights like this because we are on the go the entire night and do not have time. This time around, we actually stopped and went to two meet-and-greet spots. We met the Seven Dwarfs and Santa Goofy in the Storybook Circus area, and it was so fun.
I have never met the Seven Dwarfs before, and so many Disney fans talk about this meet and greet as a must-do for them. Now that I’ve experienced it, I can understand why people feel that way. It’s a fun photo opportunity you can’t do on a normal park day.
We Got Several Food Items
Sometimes, we are so busy running around we don’t get to stop and try several food items, but this time, we were able to stop at two places to grab party-exclusive food. Unfortunately, I couldn’t eat any of these items due to everything containing dairy, but it was fun watching Craig and Ryno react to the items they got.
My favorite snack they got was the reindeer treat from Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn. I couldn’t eat it, but I thought it was so adorable.
We Rode Space Mountain Together
The first thing we did was ride Space Mountain to see the holiday overlay. The lights were very bright, so we saw all the tracks, making this attraction seem even more terrifying than normal. The best part was the fun holiday music that was playing throughout the ride.
We Partied at Dance Parties
I am a sucker for a good dance party, and this year, we spent time at the two parties they offer. I have so many videos and photos of those moments, and I capture some adorable memories. Dancing always makes me happy and puts me in the best mood, which is why this was one of the night’s biggest highlights for me.
