This week, Disney is giving its iconic monorail fleet a luminous enhancement: glow-in-the-dark “Walt Disney World Monorail System” logos.
Starting this week, each monorail train at Walt Disney World will feature glow-in-the-dark side lettering, adding a sleek new visual element to the nighttime skyline. This enhancement builds on the after-dark upgrades first introduced during the resort’s 50th anniversary celebration.
The glowing letters complement the color-changing undercarriage lights that debuted during that milestone, which gives the beams beneath each train a soft, ambient glow, creating a more futuristic look as the monorails cruise through the night.
