Are you heading to Walt Disney World next month? You should know there are a few popular attractions that won’t be open! Attraction downtimes are common at the parks; whether it’s for a few moments or hours worth of a ride delay, or an extended period for attraction maintenance and repairs. If you’re planning on visiting the most magical place on earth next month, here are the four major attractions currently scheduled to be down for the month of April.
Magic Kingdom
– Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed in January of this year, and will reopen sometime in 2026 with some “extra magic”.
– Hall of Presidents closed on January 20th (inauguration day), and is currently expected to open “later in 2025”.
– Astro Orbiter will reopen sometime in the summer after a multi-month refurbishment.
EPCOT
– Test Track has been closed for a few months now. The “3.0” reimagined version officially opens later this summer!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
There are some substantial projects on the horizon for this park, including two new shows premiering this summer, but Hollywood Studios is safe from the April refurb calendar!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
While It’s Tough to Be a Bug closed permanently on March 17th to make way for a new Zootopia show debuting later this year, there are no other Animal Kingdom attraction closures scheduled for April!
Thankfully, besides this April 2025 closure list, there are another 70 or so attractions to enjoy at Walt Disney World. Which one are you most excited to experience again soon?
