Which Disney World Rides are CLOSED in February?

Refurbishments, renovations, and reimagined projects, oh my! Today, we’re reviewing the Walt Disney World attractions that will be closed in the month of February — which is just a few short days away! If you’re planning on visiting the most magical place on earth next month, here are the rides you shouldn’t plan on experiencing. Guess you’ll just have to come back again soon!

Magic Kingdom

– Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed last month, and will reopen sometime in 2026 with some “extra magic”.



– Hall of Presidents closed on January 20th, and there is no reopening date set as of today.

– Astro Orbiter will reopen sometime in the summer after a multi-month refurbishment.

EPCOT

– Test Track has been closed for a few months now. The “3.0” reimagined version officially opens later this summer.

– Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros is currently closed for a short refurbishment, and will reopen on March 15th.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

There are some substantial projects on the horizon for this park, but Hollywood Studios is safe from the February refurb calendar!


Disney’s Animal Kingdom

– Kali River Rapids closed earlier last month for some winter time maintenance. Currently, there is no reopening date scheduled.


Thankfully, besides this short February 2025 closure list, there are another 80-odd attractions to enjoy at Walt Disney World. Which one are you most excited to experience again soon?
