Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 2581

Notes This room was all and more than I had expected. It did have the overhead pull down bunk. It was very clean and well maintained with one small exception. The toilet didn't seem to flush fully every time. Once it nearly overflowed. Multiple pushes of the button and it finally drained. Worked fine for a day then it would act up again. But, nothing too disconcerting. Albeit that the room was a few doors down from the Edge, we never heard a thing. Nothing from above in Triton's and only once did we hear anything from the neighboring room. We barely noticed the ship movement. We left from port and didn't even know it. I felt more motion on deck 5 than I did in the room. It was nicely centrally located between the midship and aft elevators. A short walk forward to get to the action on decks 3 & 4 as well as aft to those elevators which are less used to zip up to decks 9 & 10. The bed was was soft and comfortable. There were plenty of blankets although we did have to turn the air conditioner all the way down to cold. We like it a little on the chilly side and a couple of days the humidity from port was a bit too much. The beverage cooler is exactly as its name implies, a cooler. There is no freezer. It was in fine working order, so don't expect a lot. The wave phones worked as advertised, however one of the phones had a broken belt clip. Also, as a note about outlets, we did discover a hidden outlet behind the flat screen TV. Kind of like a bonus. There was more than enough cabinet and closet space. We didn't need our shoe bag and we way over packed. We had two 36" suitcases, three 22" roller boards, a suit bag, two back packs and two tote bags. No Problem. I think that covers it all.

Notes Room was very quiet and in good condition. Occasionally heard the restaurant above, but not during the day, only late evening. Fantastic position. If you like a cabin that's dark and want to sleep well then can highly recommend. We would get an outside cabin next time as it upset our body clocks not seeing the sunlight in the morning to wake up too.

Notes We booked this room and the connecting room beside it (2579) to share between 2 adults and 2 small children. The set up was great for space and sleeping! It was close to both the mid and port elevators for trips to dinners/clubs, etc. We felt the noise of the engines here but that lulled us to sleep. It also was better for more stability of motion (I get sea sick and felt more motion in the higher decks and forward/aft). We have booked these rooms again for our next cruise! There were also steamer trunks in each of the rooms for storing all our clothes.

Notes Very quiet room. Good location near mid ship elevators. Close to Ocean Quest. This rooms is adjoining to 2579.
