After the death of trainer Dawn Brancheau in 2010, SeaWorld Orlando installed fast-rising floors in their killer whale pools, designed to quickly lift a trainer out of the water in case of emergency. A statement on SeaWorld’s blog said, “Having safely and successfully conducted in-water desensitization training in the shallower medical pool for almost 4 years, the deep-water pool lifting floors are no longer needed. كيف تربح في البوكر ”
Trainers do still get into the water with the whales in medical pools; those pools will keep their slow-lift floors in place.
SeaWorld did not disclose a cost for the floors or if there were any problems with them.
