Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Confectionery Reopens this Week!

The Main Street Confectionery in the Magic Kingdom has been closed for refurbishment since March 29th, and we’re happy to report that this sweet spot is set to reopen on Wednesday, September 29th, just in time to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort!

One of the first new things guests will see in this turn-of-the-century candy shop is the colorful candy wall, which boasts 38 varieties of M&M’S and SKITTLES.

Guests who are craving something savory and sweet will be able to personalize their popcorn experience with multiple combinations. Four popcorn flavors will be available to choose from – caramel, rainbow fruit, buttery, cheddar – and can be topped off with a selection of M&M’S or SKITTLES candies or even with some chocolate drizzle.

Guests will still be able to step up to the candy kitchen area and watch cast members make and decorate their favorite sweet treats like the character-inspired candy apples, and Mickey crisped rice cereal treats.

Plus, there are more than 30 new items you won’t find anywhere else, including many new fudge flavors.

Finally, check out these special EARidescent M&M’S containers, which will be available starting later in October.
