Disneyland’s Jungle Cruise gets a new dock

After being closed for almost four months, the Jungle Cruise in Disneyland Park reopened last week.

There were a few repairs made to animatronic animals while the attraction was down, but the main reason for the closure was to build a brand new dock.

The new dock has rollers and stabilizers on both sides of the boat, making it much easier to keep the boats from rocking while guests safely board.  The new design works so well that the skippers don’t even need to tie the boat to the dock anymore.

The classic attraction itself remains virtually unchanged.
