After being moved from their backstage home at the beginning of the year when construction began on a new Star Wars themed area, the horses that pull the trolley down Main Street USA at Disneyland Park could be moving again.
Currently Disneyland’s 16 horses live at a small stable off-site in Anaheim, but plans are in the works to build a new 5-acre training facility in Norco, California, about 30 miles northeast of Disneyland.

Disney has already filed plans with the city and is in the process of purchasing the land needed for the new Circle D Ranch, which would include barns, arenas and pens.
Norco is known as Horsetown, USA, with many horse trainers, breeders and jockeys living in the town, still the new facility would require city approval, but that may come as early as this fall.

Disney is hoping for a Spring 2017 opening date for Circle D Ranch.
