Watching fireworks at the Magic Kingdom is the pinnacle of a Walt Disney World vacation. Whether it’s Happily Ever After or holiday fireworks, this perfect end to a Magic Kingdom day is also met with plenty of crowds and a little bit of anxiety to hold the perfect spot. In front of Cinderella Castle or on Main Street, U.S.A. are the most iconic and arguably the best viewing locations. However, there’s a hidden gem fireworks spot you need to know about on your next trip to Disney World.

Tucked behind Cinderella Castle and even beyond the original Fantasyland, you’ll find “New Fantasyland” which is home to Be Our Guest Restaurant, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Journey of the Little Mermaid. You’re going to want to head to Belle’s Village / Gaston’s Tavern for this not-so-secret yet very special fireworks viewing location. Pictured above is the empty outdoor seating area where you can pull up a seat and enjoy the fireworks from a completely unique perspective. Best part of all, this seating are was completely empty until 10 minutes before the fireworks and immediately after.

While you won’t be able to see the projections on the front of Cinderella Castle, the music is piped in just as loud. Speaking of loud, you’ll want to keep in mind the fireworks are very close. You might want to use headphones for little ones or stand closer to Be Our Guest if loud noises are a concern for your group.

As an added bonus, Gaston’s Tavern was both a trick-or-treat location at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and a cookie stop at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for the 2025 season. This means during either party, you can enjoy a sweet treat during the fireworks and if you’re pro-level, get more after.
