There’s surely no shortage of merchandise at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but a handful of newer graphic tees stood out to me on a recent visit. Each design leans into the park’s personality, history, and hidden details. You can find most of these at Once Upon a Time on Sunset Boulevard, with the exception of one at the exit to Toy Story Mania in Toy Story Land.
Gertie the Dinosaur Tee | $34.99
One of the most niche designs features Gertie from Echo Lake. This oversized, green icon is officially known as Gertie the Dinosaur, and she has been part of the park since its earliest days. Inspired by Winsor McCay’s 1914 animated character, Gertie’s presence is a nod to the roots of animation. Today, she doubles as the home of an ice cream stand. The shirt captures Gertie enjoying her own popsicle while tying it back to the park’s original theme of celebrating Hollywood’s golden age.
Baseline Tap House Logo Tee | $39.99
Love Baseline Tap House? Me too. This tee keeps things simple with the laid back spot’s logo. Tucked into the Grand Avenue area, Baseline is known for its California craft beers, charcuterie boards, oversized pretzels with beer cheese, and relaxed patio seating. It’s an easy place to take a midday break, cool off, and slow things down before heading back into the action. A nice detail on the shirt: the Hollywood Studios park logo printed on the sleeve.
Hollywood Tower Hotel Logo Tee | $34.99
A classic design celebrating the icon of Disney’s Hollywood Studios features a sketch and watercolor-style design of the Hollywood Tower Hotel, with palm trees lining Sunset Boulevard.
Hollywood Studios Map Tee | $34.99
There’s also a doodle-style map tee that looks like a page from a sketchbook. It features some slightly goofy-looking cartoon takes of Slinky Dog, Gertie, and Ariel from the park’s Little Mermaid show marquee. When I say goofy, I mean it in the best way.
Toy Story Land Embroidered Logo Tee | $34.99
Finally, over at the exit shop for Toy Story Mania!, a cobalt blue shirt features an embroidered Toy Story Land inspired. Look closer and you’ll spot subtle details from Toy Story Land characters and attractions, including Slinky Dog, a Little Green Alien in a flying saucer, Woody, Buzz, and Rex.
