As of today, Typhoon Lagoon has officially reopened following its seasonal refurbishment, joining Blizzard Beach to offer guests access to both of Walt Disney World‘s water parks simultaneously.
Throughout the summer, both parks will open at 10 AM and close at either 5 PM, 7 PM, or 8 PM.
H2O Glow Nights returns this summer to Typhoon Lagoon, offering paid after-hours access to shorter attraction waits and exclusive character opportunities.
Resort Guest Water Park Perk
If you’re planning a summer getaway in 2026, Disney has a splash-worthy bonus! Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests checking in between May 26th and September 8th can visit Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon on arrival day at no extra cost.
Important Information
- The water park benefit applies only to registered guests at Disney Resorts Collection hotels with check-in dates from May 26 to September 8, 2026. You can only use the benefit on your check-in day. It cannot be moved to another day.
- This benefit is only for registered overnight guests listed on the reservation for eligible Disney Resorts. Reach out to your Dreams Unlimited Travel agent if you need to add a guest.
- This benefit is only on the day of check-in, and is valid for admission to either Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park or Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park (whichever is open). This benefit cannot be transferred to a different day. Check the park calendar in My Disney Experience and operating hours closer to your arrival to plan your check-in day.
- Water parks are subject to extended rehabilitation, seasonal, capacity, weather closures, or may close for other reasons. Parks and offerings can change or close without notice. No refunds or credits are given for closures or changes.
- Water park admission is nontransferable, nonrefundable, has no cash value, and excludes activities/events that are separately priced or not open to the general public.
Whether you prefer the snow-capped slides and lazy river of Blizzard Beach or the tropical wave pools and water coasters at Typhoon Lagoon, the choice is yours… if only for the summer!
