Hey, D23 Friends! Every D23 seems to bring another collection that has me mentally rearranging my shelves before I’ve even seen the full lineup, and this year’s Mickey’s of Glendale releases are already off to an amazing start. The Walt Disney Imagineering campus store is once again bringing exclusive merchandise to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, giving Disney fans the rare opportunity to shop items inspired by Imagineers and celebrate the creativity behind our favorite parks, attractions, and stories. It’s always one of the highlights of the event, especially for collectors who appreciate the magic happening behind the scenes.
Disney has also shared that this is just the beginning of multiple new collections that will be revealed in the lead-up to D23, making the countdown even more exciting. The first look features the new Walt Disney Imagineering Color Block Collection, a vibrant assortment of apparel, pins, and accessories inspired by the iconic colors of Walt Disney Imagineering while embracing modern design trends. It has that clean, contemporary style that still feels unmistakably Disney, and I have a feeling these pieces are going to disappear quickly once the show floor opens.
One of the things I love most about Mickey’s of Glendale merchandise is that it celebrates the incredibly talented people who bring Disney dreams to life. These collections always feel a little more special because they’re inspired by the artistry and imagination behind the parks we all know and love.
