Turner Classic Movies has announced the lineup for their next installment of Treasures From The Disney Vault, an evening/overnight programming block full of “animated shorts, feature films, live-action movies, documentaries, nature films and made-for-television movies,” to be shown several times a year. TCM announced these back in late 2014, along with their intent to help overhaul some of the film clips shown at The Great Movie Ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The evening’s lineup includes:
- The Three Caballeros: a 1944 live-action/animated film featuring Donald Duck on a trip through South America and Mexico. This film is featured in the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros attraction in Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion.
- The Wonderful World of Disney episode: The Story of The Animated Drawing. Hosted by Walt Disney, this episode discusses the history of animation, showing shorts and films such as Gertie The Dinosaur, The Skeleton Dance, the Nutcracker Suite and Babes in the Woods.
- Darby O’Gill And The Little People: Sean Connery starred in this 1959 film.
- The Wonderful World of Disney episode: I Captured The King Of The Leprechauns
- The Fighting Prince Of Donegal
- Walt & El Grupo: This documentary follows Walt and his team through South American on a goodwill trip back in 1941. The Three Caballeros was a result of this trip. الكرابس
