Announced at the D23 Entertainment Showcase, Kingdom Hearts will officially become a series available on Disney Channel and to stream on Disney+. The anime-style show will feature both original Kingdom Hearts characters and Disney favorites. This is the first time Kingdom Hearts will transform from gaming into entertainment.
Also announced at the same time, Kingdom Hearts IV will be released in late 2027 and will feature the Disney Pixar film, Coco, for the first time ever. Kingdom Hearts has been beloved by both Disney and gaming fans since 2002.
