We may still be sweating our way through September, but Disney is officially ready to start decorating for Christmas. The first big holiday merchandise collection for 2026 has been revealed, and this one leans heavily into a classic Disney Christmas with Mickey, Minnie, tartan plaid, plenty of red and green, and some seriously cute decorations for the house.
The Mickey Mouse and Family Christmas Collection launches at Disney Store on September 14, 2026, with the collection also coming soon to Disney Parks. Disney says this is only the first of several holiday collections still to be revealed, so consider this our warning that the Christmas merchandise floodgates are officially opening.
Matching Disney Christmas Pajamas Are Back
Disney is once again making it very easy to put the entire family into matching Christmas pajamas, whether everyone involved has agreed to this plan or not. The new holiday print features Mickey and Minnie in Santa hats surrounded by presents, snowflakes, holly, and other Christmas details against a bright red background.

There are several styles for adults and kids, including the Santa Mickey and Minnie Mouse Holiday Sleep Set for Women, Holiday Lounge Pants, and a Mickey and Minnie Mouse Holiday Hooded One-Piece Pajama with Mickey ears attached to the hood. Kids have their own versions, including a nightshirt, one-piece pajamas, PJ PALS, and a stretchy sleeper for babies.

The lifestyle photos Disney released really sell this part of the collection. Between the coordinating pajamas, plaid accents, and Christmas tree in the background, somebody at Disney clearly understood the assignment.
Mickey and Minnie Become Christmas Plush
The 2026 holiday plush might be some of the sweetest pieces in the collection. Mickey Mouse “The Nutcracker” Holiday 2026 Plush has Mickey dressed as a toy soldier, while Minnie Mouse “The Nutcracker” Holiday 2026 Plush puts Minnie into an adorable coordinating dancer costume.

Both also have 2026 embroidered on the foot, which makes these especially fun if you collect Disney’s dated holiday merchandise or want something to remember this particular Christmas.

There are a couple of toys mixed into the collection as well. The Mickey Mouse and Friends Christmas Train Set by Lionel brings a full Disney Christmas train to the tree, while the Mickey and Minnie Mouse Holiday Rubber Duck Set by Duckalooz might be one of the more unexpected additions. Yes, they are Christmas Mickey and Minnie rubber ducks. Of course they exist.

Disney Christmas Decorations for the House
This is where I think Disney may get me.

The home collection includes a Mickey Mouse Holiday Countdown Calendar shaped like a Christmas train, complete with adjustable number blocks counting down the days until Christmas. There’s also a gorgeous tartan Mickey Mouse Christmas Cushion, along with a Mickey Mouse and Friends Christmas Throw Blanket that carries the same red, green, and vintage-inspired holiday look throughout the collection.

Disney also revealed separate Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Christmas Stockings, both featuring embroidered character appliqués and fluffy faux-sherpa cuffs. Mickey and Minnie are dressed for Christmas on each, and I really like that they’re coordinating without simply being identical in different colors.

Then we get to the Christmas tree.

The Mickey Mouse and Friends Fantasyland Castle Reversible Holiday Tree Skirt features Mickey and friends traveling around a stylized Disney castle aboard a Christmas train. Disney has paired it with a Tinker Bell Light-Up Christmas Tree Topper, which has Tink sitting alongside a large illuminated snowflake. Between those two pieces and the plaid Mickey-shaped pillow, you could very quickly turn an ordinary Christmas tree into a full-blown Disney situation.

And apparently Disney decided that wasn’t enough train action, because the collection also includes a Mickey Mouse and Friends Christmas Train Set by Lionel. The 2026 version features Mickey riding along with the train, holiday detailing throughout, and cars carrying presents behind the engine. Put that around the Disney tree skirt and I think we’ve officially crossed the point of no return.
Christmas Is Coming…Whether September Is Ready or Not
The Mickey Mouse and Family Christmas Collection arrives at Disney Store on September 14, with items coming to Disney Parks soon afterward. Disney hasn’t revealed pricing for everything in this preview, so we’ll be watching for the full collection once it goes live.
I know we’re just barely into September, but I have to admit that this collection is making a pretty convincing argument for digging out the Christmas decorations early – November 1st is that day at our house… ahem. The traditional plaid and classic Mickey and Minnie designs are just what I love because they actually look like Christmas. Now I just need someone to explain why I’m suddenly considering a Tinker Bell tree topper when I already own several perfectly good tree toppers.
