Star Wars fans will be excited to hear that the long-awaited movie trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi has just been released! Take a look!
Yesterday at the Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, the film’s director Rian Johnson and a few members of the cast including John Boyega, Mark Hamill, and Daisy Ridley promoted Lucasfilm’s movie which is slated to arrive in theaters December 15, 2017.
As you might know if you follow @TheDIS on Twitter, Johnson made a surprise appearance as fans waited in line overnight before today’s panel which was pretty awesome. He introduced himself with a bullhorn, spent hours shaking guests’ hands, posing for photos, and signing autographs for thousands of adoring fans. He also dodged a multitude of questions about the movie’s plot.
As he walked through the convention center, he profusely thanked fans for their devotion to the Star Wars franchise. “Just stay where you’re at!” he told them. “I promise to come to you. I’m psyched to meet you guys. You guys are hardcore!”
Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be the eighth installment in the billion-dollar franchise.
