Magic Kingdom’s Backstage Areas Open for Fireworks Viewing on Select Days in May

On May 11, ‘Wishes’, the popular fireworks spectacular in the Magic Kingdom, will come to an end. Due to the show’s popularity, Walt Disney World is expecting a high volume of guests to visit for the last couple nights of the show. For this reason, and for the expected crowds looking to see the new ‘Happily Ever After’ fireworks show, the Magic Kingdom will be temporarily opening up some backstage areas in the parks for fireworks viewing. On May 6 and 11-13, the backstage bypass location between Adventureland and Main Street U.S.A. will be open. Additionally, the backstage parking lot located near Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress will be open as well.
