This weekend, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the classic animated feature Bambi with some special PhotoPass opportunities.
On August 25th to 27th from 10:20am to 4:00pm, guests will be able to meet Thumper and Miss Bunny outside of Conservation Station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch. While at Rafiki’s Planet watch, guests can also learn more about the animals featured in Bambi, including skunks, rabbits, and opossum.
PhotoPass photographers at Rafiki’s Planet Watch will be able to include Bambi and his friends in pictures with a special Magic Shot. For more fun, props celebrating the anniversary will also be available.
Throughout the park, guests can recreate the moment from the film when Bambi meets a butterfly, just by asking the PhotoPass photographer for that particular Magic Shot.
Bambi premiered in New York City on August 21, 1942.
