A video making the rounds on social media apparently shows an EPCOT guest diving headfirst into the water during Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros.
Chef Michael Collantes shared the video on his Instagram account, @chefmike_collantes, with the caption, “Kids jump in the 3 caballeros ride Quick way to get the Disney boot from [EPCOT].”
The video shows a guest standing on a platform alongside the attraction as others in his boat encourage him to jump. He then dives headfirst into the water before eventually returning to the ride vehicle. A recorded announcement repeatedly instructs guests to remain in their boats.
According to Collantes, this apparently wasn’t the first person in the group to jump.
“So this was the second kid who jumped in and they stopped the ride for about 15 minutes we for sure thought security would be waiting but nothing just walked right off,” he wrote in an update. Collantes also claimed in the comments that the group had been “chugging margaritas.”
As the video spread, some viewers questioned whether it could be AI-generated, especially due to the angle of the dive and the shallow attraction water.

Additionally, other commenters claimed they encountered the same group at EPCOT that day.
Instagram user @bettylynn25 commented, “omg i served them at australia [Food & Wine Festival booth] they harassed my coworkers”.
Another user, @platinum_niki, claimed the group eventually faced consequences, writing, “They got kicked out – we saw cops and Disney security escorting them to a taxi.”
Disney has not publicly confirmed those accounts or shared details about the incident.
Regardless of what happened after the cameras stopped rolling, jumping from a ride vehicle and into an attraction’s water creates a serious safety risk.
