Orlando Pride’s Alex Morgan Apologizes for Actions Leading to Her Being Kicked Out of Epcot

Alex Morgan, a US Soccer Star who plays for the Orlando Pride, has apologized publicly from her Twitter account for her own behavior which resulted in her, as well as a few friends, being asked to leave Epcot at Walt Disney World on Sunday.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Epcot managers reported to deputies that several people had become “impaired and verbally aggressive” and were “very loud and belligerent toward staff around guests.”

The Orlando Sentinel states that a deputy wrote in regards to Morgan: “I observed a white female, who was later identified as Alexandria Morgan yelling, screaming and taken (sic) video and possibly pictures. She appeared to be highly impaired.”

Per the police report, Morgan and three others were taken out of the park and no charges were filed.

Morgan stated in a tweet that she “will learn from this” and intends to “make sure it does not happen again.”

According to a statement presented to CNN, Orlando City SC says it is “aware of a situation” that transpired at Epcot over the weekend and “the club will address the matter internally when there is a full understanding of what occurred.”
