Breaking: Name For Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Planet Is Batuu and Guests Will See It on Star Tours

This morning, Disney finally revealed that the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge planet’s name is Batuu. This is the first of many Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge announcements we can expect in the next couple months. Guest riding the Star Tours attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will now end their journey on the Galaxy’s new planet.

During the Star Wars Galactic Nights event that’s being held on December 16, Scott Trowbridge from Walt Disney Imagineering will host a panel on Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Disney is promising that we’ll learn new and exclusive information during the event. There will be four panels held throughout the night along with all of the other special entertainment spanning the whole Star Wars saga, so if you want to be the first to know then make sure you are at the hard ticket event – tickets are still available!
