Vintage Disney related collectibles, also known as Disneyana, can garner big money at the right auction. According to an article on Forbes.com by Simon Thompson, at the recent Remembering Disneyland auction a Disneyland prospectus from 1954 sold for $10,600, which was remarkable as its estimated value was about $1,000 or $2,000. The Remembering Disneyland auction in Sherman Oaks, California showcased over 800 rare Disneyland related items.
