According to the Disney Parks Blog, Star-Lord and Gamora will be hosting ‘Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live!’ a “musical journey through the cosmos.” The limited time event will be held at the America Gardens Theatre in Epcot five times a day from June 9 until August 19. The party will feature hits from Awesome Mix Tapes 1 and 2 – fun and favorite tunes from the two movies’ soundtracks.
This will be the first appearance of the characters from Guardians of Galaxy in Epcot. In 2021, the Guardians of the Galaxy coaster will open in the former location of The Universe of Energy.
