Disney Invites Guests to Celebrate Japan’s “Children’s Day” at Epcot on May 5

One of the best things about visiting the World Showcase in Epcot is that you never know what kinds of interesting things you might happen upon during your time there. With eleven countries represented, there is bound to be something special going on.

Every year on May 5th, Japan celebrates Kodomo no hi or “Children’s Day.”

Families in Japan celebrate the health, growth, and happiness of all children. Celebrations are held all over Japan and the world, and this year, Epcot is joining in on the fun. Guests visiting the Japan pavilion on May 5th can participate in a discovery experience where they can learn more about Japan and Japanese culture. Check the daily Times Guide for details.
