Beginning Wednesday, May 16, a brand new menu is coming to The Diamond Horseshoe at Magic Kingdom. From hearty sandwiches, salads, and platters to delicious desserts, this menu is sure to please even the pickiest of eaters in the family.
The new menu will offer All-You-Care-To-Enjoy appetizer, entrée, and dessert platters as well as an A la Carte menu. Without further ado, take a look.
Guests can look forward to a “Carved Beef Brisket Sandwich with creamy coleslaw served on a brioche bun, Creamy Turkey Salad Sandwich that’s served on multigrain bread with lettuce and tomato, or the Grilled Chicken Thigh Sandwich with BBQ mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion served on a Kaiser roll.” There is also a “Mixed Green Salad with cucumber, tomato, onion, served with honey shallot vinaigrette” for those looking for lighter fare.
The new BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich has a heaping helping of mac and cheese inside topped with crispy onions and served on a brioche bun.
There are several new finger-lickin’ platters to choose from as well – the Carved Beef Brisket Platter, the Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork Platter, the Grilled Chicken Thighs Platter, and a Vegetable Platter with a choice of four sides; the platters with meat will be served with a choice of two sides and cornbread.
There are a plethora of sides to choose from, such as Potato Salad with grilled onions and a serrano dressing or Creamy Coleslaw with red and green cabbage. There’s also Jalapeno Cheddar Corn Bread with honey chipotle butter, Mac and Cheese, Corn on the Cobb with cheese, Corn Fritters, paprika, lime, and cilantro, BBQ Baked Beans, House Salad or a Watermelon Salad.
Additionally, guests ages 21 and over can pair any of these delicious menu items with classic American beers and wines with choices like a traditional lager style beer or a robust Pinot Noir.
The dessert menu has some tempting choices as well – “Buttermilk Chocolate Cake with bourbon glaze, Peaches and Cream Cheesecake with streusel topping, and a classic Blueberry Cobbler with lemon and mint cream and oat topping.”
That’ll do it for the A la Carte part of the menu; now for a look at the All-You-Care-To-Enjoy appetizer, entrée, and dessert platters.
The Appetizer Platter includes a Mixed Green Salad, Watermelon, Cucumber, and Tomato Salad, Potato Salad, and Jalapeno Cornbread.
For the Entrée Platter, guests can enjoy generous helpings of Carved Beef Brisket, Smoked BBQ Pork, and Grilled Chicken Thighs accompanied by Mac and Cheese, Corn on the Cobb, Creamy Coleslaw, and BBQ Baked Beans.
The Dessert Platter offers all three of the desserts that are available individually, but the platter is All-You-Care-To-Enjoy with Buttermilk Chocolate Cake, Peaches and Cream Cheesecake, and Blueberry Cobbler.
The Diamond Horseshoe serves lunch and dinner daily from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.
