Even though it is one of my favorite merch, finding unique items from Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa can be few and far between. This O’ahu Disney destination is a stunning fusion of Hawai’ian culture and Disney magic that pays tribute to the surrounding islands, their people, and their beautiful traditions. The shores of O’ahu are our home away from home, and every chance I get to spend a day or two at Aulani while we visit, I happily take!
One of my first stops when we visit is a quick shopping trip. I am always on the lookout for unique and fun Aulani merchandise to add to my collection. In most cases, my smallest Disney collection is based on the more practical things, like my swim shirt, clothing items, and homewares. Occasionally, we come across something a bit more character-focused, and today is one of those days.
The signature characters that can be found around the resort are the classic Disney faces, all dressed in their best tropical attire (think Mickey, Minnie, and friends), along with characters like Stitch from Disney’s Lilo & Stitch and the title character Moana from Disney’s Moana and Moana 2. Now, Aulani has added a new Stitch mug to their character offerings, with Stitch surfing the waves around our favorite island.
