This year, we’re starting something new by presenting you with our top five DISBoards.com threads of the month! There is so much helpful advice on the boards for folks who are planning a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort that we thought we’d share a few of our favorites with you.
Our number five thread is on our Theme Parks Attractions & Strategies forum, started by poster ‘mshanson3121‘ and titled ‘Why Christmas?‘ If you’ve ever spoken with anyone who has visited the Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season, I’m pretty sure that they mentioned how it’s the very busiest time of the entire year. Let me be the first to say, they’re absolutely right!

In the number 2 spot for December is a topic that many of us face when our children reach that certain age. Take a peek at the thread on our Community board titled ‘At what age do you stop taking your adult child on vacation?‘ for thoughts from other parents on when (and if) they ever stopped.
‘Marathon Weekend 2016‘ takes the number 1 spot for the month of December for the top planning thread on the DISboards! Thousands of Guests from all around the world flocked to the Walt Disney World Resort this past weekend to run one of several races. As runDisney events become increasingly popular each year, look for these threads on our W.I.S.H. (We’re Inspired to Stay Healthy) forum as new races are announced to make bonds and plans with others before the event.
