About Starlight’s Musical Artists
The music from Disney Starlight – Dream the Night Away was composed by Tim Heintz and Jedha, who both have previous ties to Disney.

Tim Heintz is an accomplished American composer, arranger, keyboardist, and music director whose versatile career bridges the worlds of studio recording, live performance, film, television, and themed entertainment. Heintz is particularly celebrated for his extensive contributions to Disney Parks entertainment, with his work including orchestration and arrangements for Happily Ever After, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, Disney Enchantment, and many more.
Jedha marks the latest musical collaboration between William Ryan Key and Ryan Mendez, longtime bandmates from the platinum-selling group Yellowcard (who headlines the cover of A Whole New World as featured on Disney’s pop-punk album, a Whole New Sound, and performed at last year’s Food & Wine Festival). After nearly two decades of touring the world together, the duo steps beyond their rock roots with a genre-blending project that showcases their musical range, with influences from ambient electronica and melodic house. Fun fact: Jedha is named after a moon in Star Wars, as the duo are big fans of the saga.
