Earlier this year, we learned that Bourbon Steak, a signature steakhouse from award-winning chef and restaurateur Michael Mina, would be replacing Shula’s Steakhouse in the Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel. This will mark the tenth location of Bourbon Steak, and it will be the third one in Florida.
The restaurant is set to begin welcoming guests this weekend, and we’ve got our first glimpse inside, along with a sneak peek at some of the food served at a recent event.
The James Beard and Michelin-recognized chef and restaurateur will bring his celebrated, modern take on the quintessential American steakhouse to the Dolphin hotel at Walt Disney World. The restaurant will feature premium cuts of beef and seafood infused with global flavors, showcasing the three core elements of Mina’s culinary philosophy: product, technique and presentation. Guests can also enjoy expertly crafted cocktails, an extensive wine list and decadent signature desserts.

It’s fairly easy to get to the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin using Disney’s complimentary transportation if you’re looking to have a night out with your significant other or a group of friends. This hotel is conveniently located near Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts and Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, with the Yacht Club being the closest. It is also a short walk there from any of those three Disney Resorts or EPCOT. If you prefer not to use Disney transportation, you can easily take a rideshare such as Uber or Lyft.

The restaurant’s opening will add to the Swan and Dolphin’s impressive lineup of 23 restaurants and lounges, joining favorites such as Todd English’s bluezoo, Rosa Mexicano, and Il Mulino New York Trattoria. This is the latest chapter in the resort’s long-standing tradition of top-tier dining.
