As everyone flocks to Walt Disney World for an extra hit of magic this holiday season, it’s easy to find yourself pixie-dusted with frustration instead. When you find that armful of merchandise that you must take home for family and friends, don’t fight the long lines to checkout, instead, make use of the My Disney Experience App and use mobile checkout. This trick will save you precious time and energy that is better spent on other activities at this time of year. Let’s look a the details from Disney on how, where, and when you can use this fabulous feature:

How to Use Merchandise Mobile Checkout

1. You’ll need a Disney account! Download and open the My Disney Experience app and sign in or create an account.
2. Tap the + icon and select the merchandise mobile checkout option.
3. Scan the barcodes on your merchandise.
4. Tap “Check Out” and pay on your phone. (Eligible discounts will be automatically applied.)
5. Show your QR confirmation code to a Disney Cast Member before you exit the shop.
6. You’re all set! We will email you a receipt.

Please be aware that a valid theme park ticket or pass and a park reservation for the same day are required to enter the theme parks.
